What makes Code Snippets AI different?
Our extension, and platform is tailored to Teams of developers that need to share Company/Codebase Specific code snippets.
We NEVER share or use your Code to further train the AI Models. ALL code that you send in requests to the AI models we offer, and store within your Code Snippets Library, is only visible to you.
From our Q/As with our current user base of over 16k developers, we have learnt that they mostly share Code Snippets with company specific code in their libraries.
ExampleA company has built an internal library to handle user profiles.
They use custom developed functions for handling, logging, and password management, that includes sensitive information, and company specific coding practices.
They would share this Code Snippet with their team, to ensure all of their developers use the same coding practices when integrating features and fixes to their existing code-base.
What languages do we support?
Python, JavaScript (and TypeScript), Java, C, C++, C#, Ruby, Go, Rust, Swift, Kotlin, PHP, SQL
Our Professionals and Power Users plans are able to access the added benefits of GPT-4. The Developer plan will continue to use ChatGPT 3.5 and Google PaLM2.
Tokens are calculated using OpenAI Guidelines, where one token roughly equates to 4-5 characters of text.
Requests vary in token size, so there is no accurate way of calculating the amount of requests per plan. However, on the dashboard of our application we use a rough average of 333 tokens per request to generate a visual representation of the Requests Left.
Do you offer a free trial?
We offer a free trial to our $4 developer plan to new users who register with
the site. You will be charged $4 at the end of the plan if you don't cancel. We do not offer free trial for any other plans.
What about other AI models?
We are seeking to bring you a large selection of AI models to choose from. Available in both our VSCode extension, and our online code snippets platform.
